Originally from Massachusetts, Sam (he/him) attended Columbia University, where he earned a B.A. in Economics in 2018. After graduating, he moved to Washington, D.C., where he worked for four years in the Office of Senator Richard J. Durbin before deciding to pursue a career in medicine. He is a certified EMT with two years of experience in hospital transport and emergency services.
