Dr. Ramanathan (she/her) is the Medical Director of UMAC and has conducted more than 500 asylum evaluations in this area since 2006. She also conducts biannual training on conducting Forensic Medical Evaluations for medical students, trainees, attendings, and other medical professionals. She is a pediatrician, medical expert for PHR, and director of CORDUSA—Global Network, working with women and children at the grassroots level globally.
