Yara (she/her) is originally from Uberlândia, Brasil, but she has lived in Carmel, Indiana since moving to the United States. She graduated from Butler University in December 2022. As an immigrant herself, Yara has always been deeply passionate about supporting immigrant communities. As an aspiring physician, it is a dream come true for her to be able to contribute in this capacity and she is incredibly grateful to serve on the UMAC board.
